Better Hope!

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

Without hope I know I'd be lost. Hope is something I cling to. My source of hope rests in Jesus. When all seems wrong in the world, I know I can cry out to Him and He is there to calm my fears.

The Bible has much to say about hope.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:22

I don't think hope is something that is exclusive to those who believe in Jesus. But I do believe what the word of God has to say about the type of hope believers have...

(for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. Hebrews 7:19

... it is a "better hope" that draws us closer to God.

Hope often makes a grand appearance in times of adversity. There is a hope that our situation will change. There is the hope that things will get better.
